Learn how each of the vehicle systems operate and practice the inspection and maintenance tasks to extend the life and lower the cost of personal transportation. Some of the topics we will cover are: safety and tools, fluid inspection and maintenance, tire inspection, electrical system inspection and maintenance, belts and hoses, brake inspection, vehicle cleaning and protecting, tips for buying a vehicle, and the cost of vehicle ownership. This class will be approximately 50% classroom where you will learn the theory and 50% shop where you will put the theory into action. The supply fee includes safety glasses, and misc supplies. Taught by a 30+ year Cascadia Technical Academy Auto Tech Instructor.
