Requirements:
Students must pass a screening prior to beginning sessions. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER until you have met with Lucinda, passed the screening, and signed a parent agreement.
$20/session; meets Wednesdays 1-3. Group tutoring follows the same schedule as Apologia Chemistry Lab with Mr. Ringnalda. Contact Jill Valenti on Slack with questions.
I’ve been tutoring students for over 20 years because I love helping students feel confident in a subject they originally struggled in. Students are to bring materials to each session for tutoring and I can make suggestions for curriculum best suited for each individual student. I tutor mainly in Math, Reading, Writing, Spelling, & Spanish, but can tutor in other subjects as well. I also work with special needs students and learned to work with these amazing kids by having a special needs son myself and helping him learn. My availability varies so message me to schedule a time, but it will definitely be within these hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5pm. I can accept up to 8 students per week, and my fee is $30 per each 1 hour session.
Math Tutoring:
I've been teaching/tutoring Math for grades K-Algebra 2 for over 30 years and just love it. My availability varies, but I'm primarily available on Mondays and Wednesdays form 9-3pm and can accept 1-16 students each week. My fee is $110 a month, which includes the room fee. I tutor a semester at a time and more long term.
