No. FPHRC is a homeschool resource center. Our classes are meant to supplement your homeschool. Homeschool credits are given by the parent for the courses taken at home as well as elsewhere.

Not necessarily. Some of our teachers have certifications, but most are members of the community who have a passion and want to share it with others! All teachers are Christian and must sign a statement of faith to teach at the Center.

There is a $100 membership fee per family per year to participate at the Center. Class fees are set by individual teachers and supplies fees cover the cost of materials for the class. FPHRC charges a $5/hour admin fee as well to cover administrative costs.

Yes, we have a scholarship program which can help offset the cost for qualifying families. Email us at carlene@fpfam.org for more information.

Remember, the Center is meant to be supplemental. An ideal number of classes per student is 1-3. We suggest trying to condense your classes to one or two days.

With a lot of prayer, providence, and people! The Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center is the result of years of hard work and generous donations of time and resources from the community. God has been so faithful during our journey and we are so thankful for what He has provided us. Purchase our Resource Center Start-Up Guide here.

A typical day can vary from half an hour to half a day depending on the student, parent, season of life, and more! Know that homeschooling is much more efficient than traditional school so it is often easier to cover much more material in much less time.
