You know what the Bible is—it’s the big book the pastor points to at church and you may have seen around your house—but if that’s all you know about it, have we got a class for you! Join us as we Journey from Genesis to John and learn what’s actually in the Bible: we will learn the books of the Bible by name, learn about the different types of books we will find (Old Testament and New) and learn some strategies for reading and memorizing what’s in there too!
Bring your Bible to class if you have one! I will assign a passage to find and read in your Bible each week at home. If you don’t have a Bible at home, let me know! I’d be happy to get one you can keep.

We will have some hands on projects, as well as learning about others they can do throughout the year and possibly a guest speaker or two. Join us in learning how to bless others and to help make our communities continuously better places to live! It would be good if the child could read on some level as one project might be about reading.
