Description:
In this class the kids would learn how to stretch, so forward rolls, cartwheels and more depending on how old the kids are. We will also play different games and learn to walk on the beams.

In this class we will explore nature through crafts, play, experiments and story. We’ll explore different natural ecosystems and what lives within including trees, mushrooms, seeds, flowers, butterflies, beetles, plants and other wildlife. Each week we’ll learn about some of the wonderful things God has made.

In this class we will read through some of the My First Little House books (both Laura and Almanzo stories) and learn what it was like to be a pioneer. We will make covered wagons, paint chalkboards, do some sewing of “quilts”, weaving, build log cabins, pressed leaves/flower letters and explore what it was like to live like a pioneer. We will also do some nature study of animals (ones mentioned in our stories: bees, cows, chickens,etc), and plant identification and some uses of them.
I plan to make “badges” and the children would earn a badge when they learned a new skill.

Students will learn all sorts of safety information in this hands-on class! Topics include: learning their address and phone number, how to safely cross the street, who are helper professionals, what to do in case of an emergency, and more.
