All New STEM SCIENTISTS is hands-on. Students will learn new concepts every week and perform science experiments that reinforce that concept, to take home. Our classes will include Science, Chemistry, Physics & Engineering.
Requirements:
Parents need to notify the teacher through Slack if their child will be absent so an experiment can be set aside for that student to pick up the following week. Parent help in class is always appreciated.

Preschoolers will follow the Earth around the sun on a joyful journey through the seasons! With songs, stories, hands-on activities, and nature exploration, children will discover God’s design in winter snowflakes, spring blooms, summer sunshine, and autumn leaves. Weekly activities include art, games, and discovery time that build early learning skills in science, math, and literacy, all while celebrating God’s creativity. Students will explore how plants and animals adapt, practice fine motor skills, and grow in friendships—all through playful, purposeful learning that inspires wonder and praise.
Every class is filled with opportunities to see God’s hand in the world around us while building fine motor skills, language development, and friendships. Whether planting seeds, making snowflake art, or crunching through “fall leaves,” students will experience learning that is playful, purposeful, and full of wonder.

Students will learn to decode the English language by introducing phonics-based spelling rules which form the foundation of the English language. Did you know that approximately 84% of English words are mostly predictable, using sound-symbol correspondences and spelling patterns? This course integrates spelling, writing, and reading, all critical skills to master before advancing to writing paragraphs. Alphabet Architects incorporates four of the five senses, making it well suited for visual, auditory, vocal, and tactile learners. Attention to handwriting is emphasized.
Course Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
• Practice the process of "hear, say, think, write, read" 70 basic phonograms that comprise the English language
• Apply spelling rules that govern the use of phonograms in the English language
• Spell 300 most frequently used words in the English language (20 each week), analyzing each word to identify applicable spelling rules
• Produce a learning log of word lists, sentences, spelling rules and grammar basics
• Write original, complete, correctly spelled sentences

Economics will cover the laws of supply and demand, money, history of money, prices, the influence on the economy, and inflation/deflation. Both courses will include projects, small group activities, essays, and presentations.
