Description:Hello I'm Anna Green, I am a student teacher and I am exited to teach for the first time! Fractions is a year long class that meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. This well rounded curriculum has a focus on fractions, but also includes: mental math, linear measure, multiple digit multiplication and division, variables, geometric figures, and formulas. It is very important that the student knows their multiplication facts 1-10 and has good division skills. Each student will have access to a weekly video they will need to watch before coming to class each Monday.
Requirements:*Book requirement: Math U See Epsilon student pack (blue book)**Student requirements: Google Classroom app, Marco Polo app, complete all homework and tests***Parent requirements: Weekly signatures on Lesson E and Test(s). IEP students must be accompanied by a parent each week.

Description:This will be a twice a week class on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will be using the Epsilon Math U See book (the blue one). This is a WELL ROUNDED curriculum with a focus on fractions , but definitely NOT soley fractions. The kids will enjoy using hands on manipulatives to help them understand fractions better. I have also created a video each week for the students to watch before they come to class to help assist them in their understanding of the lesson. This can be helpful if your family goes on vacation and misses a week of class.😊 Looking forward to another great year here at the Center! Requires Epsilon- Math U See Student Pack (blue Workbook and Test book). Students must strongly have their multiplication facts down and understand long division. Homework: 1-2 hours depending upon the knowledge the student has of the subject

Free Play: Art Ages 3yrs-5yrs Hall, Janelle Fall 2023 Early Education
Schedule: Monday - Preschool A - 131: 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm
Description:Come play with us! A fun child led free play class! We will have creative sensory stations set up for exploratory play each week to support each child's interests. This will encourage fine gross motor skills, social play interactions and improve hand eye coordination. Sensory stations will have non toxic sand, colorful rice, beans, fabrics, organic homemade play dough, woah dough & fun nature pieces my kids will collect and bring in for cutting and creative art. We will also start each class with show & tell! Each week we will have an art craft which kids are welcome to participate in but if social and sensory play is more appealing they are welcome stay playing and creating together. :) Montessori has the ultimate scientifically-based way to address child development. As a Paraprofessional Educator for Battle Ground School District in the special needs area I have learned the importance of creative free play for kids. As a homeschooling Mama myself, my two children and I utilize the Montessori approach and we all love it!

Fruit of the Spirit Ages 4yrs-6yrs Byrd, Alanna Fall 2024 Early Education
Schedule: Thursday - Classroom - 228: 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm
Description:This class is about tangibly teaching kids the fruit that’s produced in us when we have the Holy Spirit! We will learn about love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control found in Galatians 5:22-23. We will talk about how to practically show some of these traits in our daily activities (ex. spread joy to a neighbor). Each week we will do crafts, sing songs and read stories that go along with each fruit.
Requirements:This class is great for 4-6 year olds who can sit for 10-15 minute stories, listen to several step directions, use scissors and glue safely. All children need to go potty before class begins so we can spend our time playing and learning.
