This is a discipleship course based on Colossians 2:7. Middle schoolers will use specific scriptures to aid in their confidence in God's word while vivid concepts will be illustrated to enhance their discipleship and evangelism. Some homework will consist of workbook assignments and scripture memorization (approx 1 hr/wk)
In Foundations Through Creation we will practice literacy, math, and social-emotional concepts appropriate for preschoolers while exploring the seven days of creation found in the Bible. Each class will begin with an engaging circle time and then transition to open-ended activities that support what was learned at circle time. We will explore a different day of creation every month, which makes this class a nice option for the entirety of the 2023-2024 school year. It will be available for your child to join us during registration times for the first and/or second semester without having to commit to the entire year. Just know we will pick up in the second semester with the 4th or 5th day of creation, depending on the flow of the children first semester. With permission from the writer, Foundations Through Creation follows the homeschool learning guide that can be found at www.foundationsthroughcreation.com. This class would be a nice supplement to your homeschool plan with or without following the full learning guide at home.
My background is in Early Childhood Education and I absolutely love these preschool years. I look forward to being a resource to your family while providing a fun and faith-filled learning environment for your little one. Feel free to message me on Slack for further questions.

Hello I'm Anna Green, I am a student teacher and I am exited to teach for the first time! Fractions is a year long class that meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. This well rounded curriculum has a focus on fractions, but also includes: mental math, linear measure, multiple digit multiplication and division, variables, geometric figures, and formulas. It is very important that the student knows their multiplication facts 1-10 and has good division skills. Each student will have access to a weekly video they will need to watch before coming to class each Monday.
Requirements:
*Book requirement: Math U See Epsilon student pack (blue book)**Student requirements: Google Classroom app, Marco Polo app, complete all homework and tests***Parent requirements: Weekly signatures on Lesson E and Test(s). IEP students must be accompanied by a parent each week.
This will be a twice a week class on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will be using the Epsilon Math U See book (the blue one). This is a WELL ROUNDED curriculum with a focus on fractions , but definitely NOT soley fractions. The kids will enjoy using hands on manipulatives to help them understand fractions better. I have also created a video each week for the students to watch before they come to class to help assist them in their understanding of the lesson. This can be helpful if your family goes on vacation and misses a week of class.😊 Looking forward to another great year here at the Center! Requires Epsilon- Math U See Student Pack (blue Workbook and Test book). Students must strongly have their multiplication facts down and understand long division.
Homework: 1-2 hours depending upon the knowledge the student has of the subject
