In this class we will continue to use the Math-U-See Pre-Algebra curriculum to develop a deeper understanding of concepts such as: integers, order of operations, simplifying and evaluating exponents and radicals, absolute value, place value, and more. This class is held on both Mondays and Wednesdays, and in addition, students will be expected to complete 1-2 hours of homework each week. Extra videos may be provided for additional support.
Math-U-See is a skills-based program that focuses on student mastery of a concept before progressing to the next concept. A syllabus will be provided for students and parents.

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of Pre-calculus/Trigonometry and its underlying concepts using the Math-U-See system. The curriculum will include both theory and application. This course will be appropriate for anyone who has successfully completed Algebra 2, and has a solid grasp of exponents, polynomials, variables, equations, and conic sections.
Students taking the Pre-calculus course will learn the following skills: trigonometry; radians and polar coordinates; vectors, functions, and composites; logarithms; arithmetic and geometric series.
Requirements:
Students must have the Math-U-See Student Pack for Pre-calculus. This comes with the workbook and test booklet, and is available for purchase online at: https://www.christianbook.com/math-u-see-precalculus-student-pack/pd/511141.
