Description:Climb up into the treehouse with your fellow patriots to explore the godly foundation and growth of our great nation. Students will time-travel through US history with crafts, music, stories, songs, biographies, art history, games, dress-up days, and more! They will memorize the Pledge of Allegiance, The Star Spangled Banner, how to name & locate all 50 states, create a timeline of US events, and much more - all while creating their own patriotic notebook! The material in this course is based on K-2nd grade Abeka history texts along with other Christ-Centered resources.
Requirements:Students should be ready to write a few words each week (they can trace or copy from the board). Students will be encouraged to follow 3-step directions, work independently, ask for help if needed, take turns, and show kindness and respect to the teacher and fellow classmates.

Description:Climb up into the treehouse with your fellow Little Patriots to explore the Godly foundation and growth of our beautiful America from the 1400s to 1899. Students will time-travel through US history with meaningful crafts, songs, biographies, art history, games, dress-up days, and more! They will memorize the Pledge of Allegiance, the Preamble (& other quotes) and learn to sing & sign The Star-Spangled Banner. Kids will learn how to name & locate all 50 states, create a timeline of US events, and much more - all while creating their own patriotic notebook! Kid's will have opportunities to present a few, short oral reports throughout the year and create their own "Inventions" like Thomas Edison. Description:Based on the book "Stories of Great Americans for Little Americans," this class will teach your child all about the founding of our great nation through arts and crafts, storybooks, songs and games! Students will learn the Pledge of Allegiance, how to draw the United States of America, and much more - all while creating their own patriotic notebook! ** This class is a continuation of Little Patriots 1; however, all of the material is new and a student need not have taken the class fall term to participate in spring term.

Description:Join us in this early elementary general science course as we learn about matter, sound, light, our solar system, Earth’s surface, food chains, weather, and much, much more. Each week we will read about the science topic, discuss a small set of vocabulary words, and do an activity or experiment.
Requirements:Ages 6-9; Students should be able to independently use scissors, school glue, and general art supplies safely. Students should also be able to do 5-10 minutes of copy work and fill out a worksheet with guidance.

Living Books Storytime Ages 5yrs-7yrs Bafford, Amy Fall 2026 Early Education
Schedule: Tuesday - Preschool A - 131: 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm
Description:Living Books, as described by education expert, Charlotte Mason, are full of ideas that feed the mind and develop desirable characteristics in the listener. Throughout this class, your child will be immersed in storybooks written by authors who have passion for their subjects, use a quality conversational writing style, and inspire the listener's emotions and imagination. These living books, both old and new, are a wonderful way for students to learn about God's world and to grow in character. Each week, students will have opportunity to engage in discussion and delve into crafts or activities relating to the topic of the week.
Requirements:Students must be able to: sit and listen to the teacher for up to 20 minutes, use typical crafting supplies (e.g. scissors, pens, glue), and participate well in group activities and discussions.

Description:Does your middle or high school student love to read? Love fantasy? JR Tolkien is a fabulous writer who weaves together a tale filled with friendship, adventure, treasure, and a dragon. This term we will read The Hobbit and The Fellowship of the Ring. Next term we will read The Two Towers and The Return of the King. All of the reading will be done outside of class. Our class sessions will include exploring the realm of fantasy literature, learning about the author, comparing LOTR to other classic stories, and discovering biblical "treasure" within the story. In addition to reading the story, students will be writing essays, building vocabulary, and understanding literary techniques. Parents can choose to have this course be a core class (3-4 hours of homework per week) or as an elective (1-2 hours of homework per week). Both groups will have the same in-class experience but you can choose how much outside work you want your student to have.
