We will eat classic camp snacks like s'mores and trail mix, on vintage camp dishes and do a different nature/science craft/activity each day. For example, we will learn how to draw birds while listening to real Washington birdsong. Our craft will be a birdfeeder, and we will make and eat “bird nest” treats. Each day will have a different nature focus: examining real flowers and make a pressed flower “stained glass window” and eat “dirt” pudding. On our Beach Day, kids will make mandalas with shells, beach glass and driftwood, then decorate & eat beach-scene graham crackers. The kids will get-moving everyday with vintage camp games like potato sack races, tug-o-war, hopscotch and balloon volleyball. During free time campers will be able to read camp stories in our tent, check out the water bead “river” bin, build Legos or visit our an art table. A big highlight everyday will be earning Merit Badge stickers that they will add to their Camp Journal (Fruits of the Spirit and "Scouting" badges). I can't wait to meet all my happy campers.
