Welcome to our Worship Dance Class! This class is a beautiful opportunity to come together and express our reverence to the Lord through the art of dance, particularly with worship flags. It’s a dedicated time to offer praise and gratitude for all that He has done and continues to do in our lives. Our journey in this class will be firmly rooted in the fruits of the Spirit, and we will begin each session with scripture and prayer, allowing His presence to guide us. As a community, we’ll build a strong foundation together, acknowledging that He is in control, and explore how we can better serve Him through our worshipful movement. Join me in this spiritually uplifting dance experience. Students will be performing in the Spring Dance Show “Moses and The God Who Delivers” (May 15th-18th). This Class will be in Show B. PLEASE READ our syllabus containing more details about the shows and pertinent dance class information is located here on our website. Click on Programs - Dance. Mandatory parent meeting 7pm 2/24. Each semester’s Admin fee includes the show costume rental fee.

As part of the Worship Choir, students will learn what worship is through various short devotions. Students will learn various worship songs arranged for choirs and learn to sing in 2 and 3 part harmonies. There will be a spring concert on May 25th that will showcase all they've worked on (required participation). This choir is audition only (will notify you of audition times).
Important: This class will start February 7th and will have a dress rehearsal May 22nd!
As part of the Worship Choir, students will learn what worship is through various short devotions. Students will learn various worship songs arranged for choirs and learn to sing in 2 and 3 part harmonies. There will be a winter concert that will showcase all they've worked on (required participation). This choir is audition only (will notify you of audition times).
This is a year-long class! About the teacher: My name is Anamaria Micu. I have a teaching degree in K-8 education and a music endorsement. I've taught private piano lessons for 25 years and worked as a music teacher at Cornerstone Christian School. I have experience in teaching multiple choirs and small ensembles over the years in the community and various churches and have sung on worship teams and led worship at several churches. I'm excited to share my love of music with your kiddos! As part of the Worship Choir, students will learn what worship is through various short devotions. Students will learn various worship songs arranged for choirs and learn to sing in 2 and 3 part harmonies, as well as other musics terms and notation. There will be a concert Dec 18 that will showcase all they've worked on (required participation). This choir is audition only (will notify you of audition times).
Requirements:
Must love to sing and give an audition (unless you’ve auditioned for me last year). Participation in the concert is required and a year-long commitment is expected so that we can grow our skills over the course of the year! Each student that signs up must love to sing and be excited to be a part of the class

In this class we will be looking at all the amazing animals in God's creation and learning the classifications from mammals to simple organisms and everything in between. We will be creating our own book of animals to show what we have learned as well as read through fun books, make crafts, and play games.
This class will be offered as a two part class with the second half offered in the Spring.
Requirements:
Students should have the ability to cut and paste, write a small sentence or two, follow simple, step by step instructions, and join in class discussions by taking turns talking and listening .
