Students then move to stations. Stations generally include an art project, math/science activity, and sensory bin. To end class, we come back to circle and students “share” with the class what they made or did that day!

Using only the supplies chosen at the beginning of the semester, students will learn everything there is to know about food and water sourcing, shelter building, and how to build a homestead from the ground up in this educational adventure on survival and bushcraft for beginners.
In this class we will learn about different ways you can help in your local community and around the world. We will have some hands on projects, as well as learning about others they can do throughout the year and possibly a guest speaker or two. Join us in learning how to bless others and to help make our communities continuously better places to live! Basic hand sewing techniques for fashion and everyday objects used inside and outside the home. In this course we will complete 2 smaller projects and one fashion project. This fashion project will be selected with the student and myself with approval of parents from historical sewing books. These books are AMAZING for custom fitted items with out the hassle of altering a pattern. It may seam like this is not beginner level but creating your own pattern from the step by step graphing technique used in historical books it is much easier than using someone else’s pattern in the basic sizing options given. Projects: Leather thimble, Needle Book and fashion project.
