Have you ever wondered what to say when someone challenges your faith or asks a question about God? Apologetics is a major step in your personal spiritual growth. Knowing why we believe what we believe is more important now than it has ever been. This interactive class will not only be taught from a Bible-based perspective, but will be done through fun and entertaining conversations. Each class begins with Q&A time, where I will answer any questions you can think of, while encouraging participation. The structure of the course is done in a fresh and relevant way, this is not your grandpa's Sunday School class. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Bring a Bible, notebook and pen. I will supply the book.

In this class, your child will learn the basics of American Sign Language. This is class will not be given at the credit level needed for high-school credit, but your child will learn to love ASL through immersion and lots of practice. Jennifer Zollo is deaf and desires that all her students learn ASL through regular practice. She has a passion for teaching and sharing all she knows about ASL. Handouts will be given and what is practiced in class will be encouraged to practice at home. Parents are also encouraged to join the class and participate.
In this class we will use guided drawing as a means to discovering our own unique art style. Lessons will emphasize important foundational elements of a successful painting as we refer to famous works and styles created by the Masters, as well as a few contemporary artists. Students will learn how to see the world as an artist by breaking down complex subjects into simple shapes. Emphasis will be placed on “loosening up;” placing much less energy on perfected realism, and celebrating the “imperfect” mark making that contributes to an interesting painting and design. We will cover drawing and painting technique, with wide exposure to multiple mediums. Just as each of our signatures reflect our own unique style, so does our artwork! We will correlate this concept to a marveling at God’s gift in creating each of us as an original masterpiece, each with our own unique gifts and strengths that we were given to bring beauty into this world! We will complete eight bold, beautiful art projects throughout the semester, each project taking several sessions to complete.
Please note class duration will be 90 minutes. Due to the nature of our multiple session projects, it is important your student attends as many classes as possible. Please send students in clothes that can get messy so they can feel free to create!
Ages: 7-12+
Calling all Bible detectives - you are needed to help us solve a Bible Mystery!!
In this class, we will be going through a Bible Curriculum that chronological walks your children through the Old Testament in search of clues for the Cross. We will be using the curriculum - In the Beginning . . . Jesus. It's specifically designed towards 3rd-5th graders but I'm willing to take some younger children as well. This class will be a very fun and engaging mystery type class where your child will learn about the Bible while acting as detectives. You will be required to purchase the child's workbook so that they can complete all the assignments during the class period. My hope and prayer is that your child will grow in their love for Jesus through this class and learn more about His Word and how he has desired to save us from the beginning.
Travel the world with stories, songs, notebooking, and more!
