Living Roots Agriculture & Natural Resources

Living Roots is a new and growing program that focuses on educating nourishment for life and health of others through quality agriculture and natural resources. Students in our classes gain an understanding of what agriculture is along with an in-depth look at various livestock operations. Students also explore the natural resources of the Pacific Northwest and develop the knowledge and skillset of ecology, forestry, and wildlife.

Living Roots is a very interactive program! We offer hands-on projects, professional guest speakers from local industries, and field trips to help enrich students' minds and hearts. This program focuses on teamwork, independence, leadership, initiative, and accountability. Students can expect age-appropriate assignments such as written reports, research projects, comprehension questions, and in-class group collaboration.
