Our classes seek to provide a solid foundation in scientific principles as we explore our world. We desire to develop a deeper understanding of the mind of God through careful study of his creation, pursuing the truth through our studies in order to cultivate a love of learning, and a firm foundation for our students to build upon in their future. We seek to explore the role of various theories in science and how they shape scientific viewpoints as we learn how to understand science and its proper place in our lives from the perspective of creation. Our Apologia science labs assist your student in completing the laboratory component of the Apologia science curriculum. Apologia recommends the following sequence:

We challenge the next generation, by teaching our young people how to problem solve with real-world problems and applications. Our physics courses are engineering-based and aim to teach students the fundamentals of physics through experience and experimentation.

At Firmly Planted we believe in fostering a love of science early! Our younger students are exposed to the joy of science with a variety of experiment-based courses with hands-on learning. Classes vary by term.
