The heart of the Homeschool Resource Center is to encourage and support parents through their homeschooling journey. To this end, we try to offer a variety of parent education workshops each semester. Check our calendar for upcoming events.

Homeschooling How-To:

Are you new to homeschooling? Have you been homeschooling a year or two but still have questions? This workshop will cover state requirements for homeschooling as well as many tips as you begin your journey. How to schedule your day, choosing curriculum, dealing with different learning styles, homeschooling multiple ages, and much more. Come see how homeschooling can work for your family!

Homeschooling with Special Needs:

Learn the basics of an IEP or 504 plan, get a crash course in dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, and gain a better understanding of the seven sensory systems with our very own occupational therapist and special education guru.

Homeschool through High School:

Join a panel of veteran homeschool moms as they talk you through the process of homeschooling through high school including transcript help!
