A fun week of STEM related science experiments, games, etc... as we learn and practice PERSEVERANCE. Our Bible focus is Hebrews 12:1, which we will learn and practice each day in each activity. Each themed day will feature a different aspect of science (ie: rainbow day, building day, etc...) and will include one or two hands-on experiments, a related active game, a color or activity page, and a fun, theme-related snack.
Hola Amigos! Come and explore the Spanish language at a preschool level. We will use the Abeka Spanish K5 program as a basis for class but I'll be adding in songs, read aloud and regular spoken Spanish into the classroom so your little can have an immersive experience. Our class will include: a Spanish based circle time, a craft/worksheet time, Spanish games and free play using our Spanish vocabulary. My goal is that your student leaves this class with some basic Spanish vocabulary and a deeper love of Jesus through the learning of a foreign language.
Requirements:
Students must be able to sit through a 10-15 minute circle time, cut and paste with scissors and glue, follow directions and be willing to learn!
Greetings! My name is Summer St. John, I’m nineteen years old and have been learning ASL for five years. I began studying Sign Language after watching a video of a deaf teacher beautifully signing a story on being seen as a deaf person. After that, God gave me a passion to study the language on my own. At fourteen, I took a semester of ASL from a deaf person and fell more in love with the language. I have taught five ASL classes since then, and am currently assistant teaching with my deaf friend Jennifer. I plan to pursue deaf ministry, and look forward to sharing my passion with others through private ASL lessons.
I encourage parents to learn and teach their kids,
During this 30 minute session, students will be tutored and challenged in whatever areas/ dance styles that they would like extra help in. The focus being on technique, strength and skill according to your specific desires and needs that could help to take to you the next level.

Hi, I'm Ryan and I would love to give the gift of music to your child! I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Ministry from Multnomah University. You have 3 options. you can learn acoustic guitar, focusing on chord shapes and rhythm. You can learn electric guitar, focusing on chords, arpeggios, lead lines, tabs and tone. Or you can learn bass guitar, focusing on fretboard memorization, tabs, rhythm, and groove. My emphasis and approach is that music should be practical and life-giving. This means there will be a foundation of theory, and scales that every guitarist needs to know but there will be a focus on practical playing and fretboard fluency. There's nothing better than having the freedom to create music! Pricing is $100 per month for weekly 30 min. lessons or $135 for 45 min. lessons.
Requirements:
You'll need the instrument you're learning. If you have an electric guitar or bass, you should have an amplifier. Feel free to ask me about recommendations. In terms of age, there isn't a requirement but I've found that the teenage years are the best period of time to learn guitar. You'll need enough dexterity and hand-eye coordination to learn. I'll purchase curriculum and can be reimbursed.

I was taught piano for 14 years, 9 of those years under Diane Stevens and the other 5 years of advanced piano under Colleen Adent. I was trained classically but also play chords for worship if you want to learn that instead! Not only will we be starting or continuing with your training but we’ll be looking into the technique of how you play to provide the best comfort for your hands. You will need to get Alfred lesson and theory book if you are just starting out. If you are continuing piano, I will stick with the books you have been working through. I like to find fun pieces for my students as well if they have a song they want to learn. For that, I acquire a Musescore subscription every fall. Totally optional, it is an extra one time $5 from you if your child wants to learn recognizable songs outside of the lesson books. Please bring a notebook so I can write down your notes for each lesson. You can look back at the notes during the week to know what you need to work on.
