My name is Jennifer and I am a deaf teacher and will be teaching this sign language class. This class is for first time sign language learners. We will learn the basics of the alphabet, numbers, and beginning signs. Since I am deaf, I will be signing at all times throughout the class and Summer St. John will be assisting if the students need help understanding what I am saying. I look forward to helping your student learn sign language in a fun filled way. There will be assigned homework this year to help round out the credit if you as the parent desire it to be a full high school language credit.
