Celebrate the fun of fall with our sensory-rich, play-based preschool class designed especially for curious toddlers and preschoolers! Each week, children will explore the colors, textures, and sounds of autumn through hands-on activities like pumpkin & gourd comparisons, leaf suncatchers, pine cone art, and splat-painted fall trees. From sunflower seed tweezing and pumpkin goo sensory bags, we’ll nurture fine motor skills, creativity, and early science discovery. With a blend of art, music, sensory play, and outdoor discovery, this class will leave your child excited to learn and explore every crisp leaf and pinecone they find. Join us in a seasonal journey where nature and learning go hand in hand!
Requirements:
Children must be able to attend class without parent (special needs with a student helper is fine). Students need to use restroom before class, and have a parent available on Slack for bathroom breaks during class.
Awesome Architects is a class for kids who like to build and create. Each week we will be learning new ways to create building structures from the book, "Awesome Architecture Activities for Kids." Depending on the size of each structure, the detail and finishing work involved, some buildings will take 2-3 classes to finish. When each building is complete, your child will bring it home.
Requirements:
Weekly attendance is very important as many of our projects will take 2-3 classes to complete. If your child is sick then I will send the materials home that they need to complete it. However, if this class conflicts with vacation/family plans, perhaps another class would be a better choice.
Want to start babysitting? Learn all the basics of child care from feeding, diapering, playing, discipline, and safety. You will develop the knowledge to care for a child in a safe and responsible way. The course will include an optional CPR and first aid training.
