Description:Come and learn history in an engaging and fun environment! This history class will explore medieval history through story telling, geography/cartography, and a weekly craft project. Crafted for 2-6th graders, this class will engage the auditory, tactile, and visual learners and will make history memorable and fun. Olivia has 4 kids, ages 3-11 and has had fun homeschooling for the last 6 years - The Story of the World is a family favorite!
Requirements:Students should be able to listen to a 20 minute story while doing a tactile activity, have the dexterity to color and use scissors, be able to follow simple, step-by-step instructions, and be a participant in a group discussion by both listening and answering questions in turn. Reading is helpful but not an absolute requirement.

This immersive, YEAR-LONG COURSE covers your entire year of homeschool history as we explore Volume One of Story of the World, from the first nomadic tribes to the mighty Roman Empire. Designed for curious 8-to-11-year-olds, this class transforms history into a thrilling, hands-on playground. Your child won't just hear history—they will live it by cooking ancient recipes, creating beautiful period art and crafts, tackling geographical map work, and playing games from past civilizations. Description:This class focuses on growing friendships, play, love of stories, and Biblical lessons we can learn through it all. For example: Baby Wren and the Great Gift will teach kids that God has a special purpose for each of their lives. Petunia Beware teaches us that the grass may not actually be greener on the other side and how we can be thankful for what we have. The Night Gardener shows us the blessing of doing kind and beautiful things for others. Some books will teach the months of the year, seasons, and counting as well. We'll throw in some fun ones too, Dragons Love Tacos, Where the Wild Things Are, We Were Tired of Living in a House, and more! We will sing songs, do crafts and play games related to the books we read.

Description:Girls and boys will enjoy stories about building godly character qualities like kindness, honesty, perseverance and forgiveness. They will learn dances and wear costumes to retell stories. Each day will have a different theme such as circus day, Jack and the Beanstalk, garden fairy friends and how to be a prince or princess. Snacks will be provided each day, including a royal tea party on the final day of camp. Each day after checking in at the dance studio, students will attend chapel in the auditorium. When they return to the studio dancers will have the option to get some face painting or do a craft/art project for the day. After stretching they will learn some tumbling, have story time, then learn a dance that they will perform for you when you come to pick them up.
