Join me in this spiritually uplifting dance experience. There will be no performance for this class, and while it is offered as a year-long class, you are not required to commit to both terms..

Step into a sacred space of movement and praise in our Worship Dance Class—a beautiful opportunity to glorify the Lord through dance using worship flags, ribbons, and expressive movement.
Each class begins with scripture and prayer, grounding our time together in the presence of God. Rooted in the fruits of the Spirit, we will explore how dance can be a powerful form of worship, gratitude, and spiritual connection. As we move, we’ll focus on honoring Him with our bodies, hearts, and unity as a community of believers.
This class is about more than technique—it's about offering ourselves in worship, growing in faith, and encouraging one another in love and grace.
Students will participate in a Spring Dance Show as an act of worship and celebration. This is a yearlong class and students will be performing in two performances for our Spring Dance Show “For Such A Time As This” . Dress Rehearsal and Shows are April 23-26. This Class will be in Show A or B. It will be decided by October. PLEASE READ our syllabus containing more details about the shows and pertinent dance class information is located here in the class files and on our website. Click on Programs - Dance. Mandatory new parent meeting over Zoom at 7pm September 15th. Spring semester’s Admin fee includes the $25 show costume rental fee. There will be an optional $10 show t-shirt.

We will be learning how to participate in an effective worship team environment. Our goal is to prepare the student to be a successful worshipper and part of a worship team.
Applicants must be proficient at their instrument. The class is not “how to play” but rather, learning to play as a group to lead worship.
Instruments include: 1. Vocals
2. Acoustic Guitar
3. Electric Guitar
4. Bass Guitar
5. Drums
6. Keyboard/Piano
Some of the topics we will cover are:
1. Personal and spiritual development.
2. Musicianship with a band.
3. Theological and spiritual aspects of worship.
4. Leadership principles.
5. Basic sound and computer tech processes to support worship.
6. And many more….
The class will develop teams that may lead chapel or other events that need a worship team at FPHRC. We will also encourage each participant to be involved in their church’s worship program.
We will be working on popular worship songs together in class. As applicable, students need to bring their own instruments to class. We will have a sound system to plug into.
Requirements:
Proficient on a worship team instrument (Able to read a chord chart).
AUG. 5-8 Firmly Planted IGNITE summer camps all start with 30 minutes of group chapel followed by 2 1/2 hours of specialty camps designed to ignite your student's faith. Cost includes a camp t-shirt. Boys 6-10 years old - Coach Matt's goal is to develop champions in life through a structured program based on values, commitment, and skills development, aimed to see these boys grasp and grow into the men of God they're meant to be. The fundamentals of wrestling include basic skills, drills, and techniques in a fun and positive environment. Wrestling is a unique sport because it teaches values that last a lifetime. Wrestling builds character and teaches kids how to overcome obstacles and failure, handle emotions, respect authority, have a strong work ethic, discipline, resilience, accountability, and be a good teammate. Our camp is dedicated to fostering these values in our boys, providing an atmosphere where they can thrive. This program is best defined as "wrestling meets youth group."
Wrestling shoes are not necessary. Please bring plenty of water and socks to wear. Snacks will be provided each day. Please let me know if your child has any food sensitivities or have them bring a snack.
Coach Matt's goal is to develop champions in life through a structured wrestling camp based on values, commitment, and skills development to see these boys grasp and grow into the men of God they're meant to be. The fundamentals of wrestling include basic skills, drills, and techniques in a fun and positive environment. Wrestling is a unique sport because it teaches values that last a lifetime. Wrestling builds character and teaches kids how to overcome obstacles and failure, handle emotions, respect authority, have a strong work ethic and discipline, and be a good teammate. Our camp is dedicated to fostering these values in our boys, providing an atmosphere where they can thrive. This camp is best defined as "wrestling meets youth group." To conclude the camp, we will have a friendly intrasquad competition for the boys to demonstrate.
Wrestling shoes and headgear are not necessary. Please bring plenty of water and socks to wear. Snacks will be provided each day. Please let me know if your child has any food sensitivities or have them bring a snack.
