My fee is $25 an hour, due monthly by the first of the month, before tutoring begins. My availability is Thursdays 9-5pm, and possibly some limited hours on other days as well. I can accept 1-6 students per week and I am available year round.

Scheduled meeting or phone call with tutor to discuss needs before applying for class.
I have many years of experience teaching and tutoring students and really love doing so. My availability varies so message me to schedule a time, but it will definitely be within these hours: Mon-Fri 10am-3pm. I can accept up to 2 students ever other week, and my fee is $30 per each 1 hour session.

Designed for students starting at a beginner level, this class will simultaneously focus on skills in keyboarding and word processing. Students will begin class by working their way through self-paced typing lessons, with a focus on typing by touch and increasing speed and accuracy. We'll also have some typing games, of course! Then we'll explore word documents and learn how we can utilize the tools and functions to create and enhance our assignments. In-class activities will include: creating images from text, formatting acrostic poems, and a typing relay race.
Requirements:
No requirements, but access to a computer and keyboard at home may be helpful for extra practice.

This class is a continuation of my typing course offered in the spring! Students will continue to build on their typing skills through self-paced lessons and engaging typing games. In addition to keyboarding practice, students will be introduced to Google Slides, where they'll learn how to create and design their own slideshow presentations. As we complete our projects, students will have the opportunity to showcase their work during group presentations, helping them develop confidence in public speaking.
Requirements:
Completion of the Typing I course, or beginner level typing skills.
This is one of the low points in human history and is not an easy subject to approach. But many things can be learned from looking back at this horrific event that resulted in the extermination of 6 million Jews and millions of other individuals.
We will look at the Nazi party and the years leading up to the Holocaust so that we can understand the historical context of this time period.
Students will explore the human behavior of all individuals involved - from perpetrators to victims, as well as countless others that helped them.
We will attempt to approach this sensitive subject by connecting with testimonies of victims, exploring the thinking of the Nazi regime, and witnessing the unbelievable faith of many Jewish people impacted during these trials.
We will investigate the responsibilities we have to help create a more just, loving, and compassionate world.
Within this course, students will read The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, Number the Stars by Lois Lowry, and the Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
Parents can choose to have this course be a core class (3-4 hours of homework per week) or as an elective (0-1 hours of homework per week). Both groups will have the same in-class experience but you can choose how much outside work you want your student to have.
*We will have a short period of time at the end of each class period for journaling to help transition back to normal activities.
Requirements:
Students must be able to process challenging topics such as brutality, death, and the sinful depravity of humankind though we will not focus solely on these.
If your student is hesitant to try art, if they love learning all they can absorb about art or they’re somewhere in between, this class is perfect for them!
Through this method of simplified line art students can:
Relax
Focus
Expand their imagination
Trust their creativity
Increase their awareness
Respond confidently to the unexpected
Discover the fun and healing in creative expression
Feel gratitude and appreciation for this beautiful world God has given us
And perhaps most importantly . . . Have fun!
Requirements:
Students will be given a small sketchbook to take home and practice their tangles. In class I will provide all the tools and supplies they need.
Parents please make a habit of responding to Slack messages, so I know you have read them, either with a reply in thread or an emoji.
