Using Logic of English's "Rhythm of Handwriting: Cursive" as a foundation, students will learn the fundamentals of cursive handwriting. This curriculum teaches verbal cues to help students remember correct letter formation. The style of cursive taught is very simple, but pleasing--appropriate for all ages of learners. I, personally, have used this curriculum to teach cursive to an adult, an "average" 8-year-old, and an "advanced" 5-year-old--all with excellent results. The curriculum can easily be adapted to different ability levels. We will begin with learning lower case letters, then add words, phrases, upper case letters, and full sentences.
Requirements:
Students must be able to focus and participate in class for the entire class period. They need to have a positive attitude about learning this material. They also need to have adequate fine motor skills to write and/or draw with reasonable precision and be able to read.
This is an introductory class to the time honored tradition of hand embroidery! Students will learn basic embroidery stitches and patterns or improve on what they already know. As they improve they will get to embroider on different materials and learn plenty of flower patterns!
Do you want to learn Romanian? In this class we will be learning about Romania and the language. Although this class will have handouts and will require some reading and writing, I will be flexible on the ages I will accept in class. Parents are also welcome to register for this class.

Calling all Bible detectives - you are needed to help us solve a Bible Mystery!!
In this class, we will be going through a Bible Curriculum that chronological walks your children through the Old Testament in search of clues for the Cross. We will be using the curriculum - In the Beginning . . . Jesus. It's specifically designed towards 3rd-5th graders but I'm willing to take some younger children as well. This class will be a very fun and engaging mystery type class where your child will learn about the Bible while acting as detectives. You will be required to purchase the child's workbook so that they can complete all the assignments during the class period. My hope and prayer is that your child will grow in their love for Jesus through this class and learn more about His Word and how he has desired to save us from the beginning.
