AUG. 5-8 Firmly Planted IGNITE summer camps all start with 30 minutes of group chapel followed by 2 1/2 hours of specialty camps designed to ignite your student's faith. Cost includes a camp t-shirt. Basketball skills and drills is coming to our center! Be the first to meet the new coaches and increase your knowledge and performance of the game! We will start each day with a warmup, work through stations in small and large groups, and have scrimmages that will build confidence and skill. This camp is great for all skill levels. Coach Darren and Coach Kathy bring 14 years combined experience of coaching at Portland Christian. We are thrilled to offer three coaches to our players this summer! I am excited to see how God will use us as a team to bring Him glory and bring the joy of basketball to our kids!
Requirements:
Bring your good attitude and comfortable workout clothes with athletic shoes. No sandals allowed. A small snack and water bottle each day.

Logical reasoning is found across the curriculum as your student grows and will be used in mathematics, humanities, music, and science and engineering. This class will teach early logic skills with logical puzzles and brain teasers, detecting fallacies, recognizing assumptions, becoming aware of propaganda and more. This class is taught as an early introduction to logical thinking and, with this age group in mind, will be a lighter class with puzzle solving, group work, and games as well as individual work.
