Join our Center Stage Teens Mentorship Class, where experienced teen performers can serve as positive role models and mentors to younger theater students. In this dynamic class, teen mentors will demonstrate theater skills such as acting, movement, and stage presence, while guiding and encouraging the younger students. As everyone collaborates on the Center Stage Kids performance of “Charlotte’s Web” this program fosters leadership, teamwork, confidence, and faith. It’s a meaningful opportunity for teens to grow as performers and mentors while inspiring a love for theater across all ages. This is a FREE volunteer mentorship opportunity. ***This is an APPROVED ONLY MENTORSHIP THEATER PROGRAM. All registered students will be contacted by the Director to schedule an interview in order to be considered for the approval process. Mentors will be expected to help during the performances. There will be two live performances on January 10th (tickets will be $12 each). The supply fee covers the students script.

Join our 90 minute Theater Showcase class and bring your performances to the spotlight! This dynamic course provides students with the opportunity to develop their acting, improvisation, and stage presentation skills through rehearsing and performing in a culminating showcase. Whether you're experienced or new to the stage, you'll collaborate with classmates to select, rehearse, and perform scenes and monologues that highlight your unique talents. The class emphasizes creativity, confidence, faith and teamwork, offering a fun and exciting environment to shine on stage.
Performances will be held in the auditorium on the last day of class.

In a time of injustice and heavy taxes, Robert of Locksley is forced from his home and finds refuge in Sherwood Forest, where he becomes the legendary Robin Hood. Alongside his merry band of men and women, he courageously helps the poor and stands against the tyranny of the Sheriff of Nottingham, demonstrating courage, generosity, and love for others. Filled with adventure, humor, and heart, this family-friendly retelling reminds us that doing what is right can bring hope even in difficult times. More than a performance, this term brings together a caring theater community united by faith that will encourage, support, and uplift our students.

Come join us for an original production of the Escapades Of Denston Thomas! Together we will follow the Character's of Elsie and Amelia whose father is drafted in the WW1. After a trip to the book store the girls are pulled into the book “Escapades of Denston Thomas” by non other than Denston Thomas himself. The girls are brought along to save Denston’s hero Maximus Leviticus. During this adventure Denston learns that he needs to surrender his adventurous dreams to God, and decides to serve the kingdom in a different way. Returning home, the girls and their mother learn the importance of trusting in God and surrendering worries—even their worries about their papa.
This course offers the chance to be in something bigger and to build a community of faith and love around our students.

This age-old model of transference of craft skills, ideas, and practice will provide a unique learning opportunity for your student. In this class we will discuss in-class helper guidelines tips and techniques, studio equipment training, and chore expectations. Apprentices will be trained in all the nuances and needs of the duties that are unique to our studio as well as discussion/exposure to alternative types of studio environments.
Requirements:
Apprentices need to help in some of the scheduled classes being held in the ceramics studio. Any class Apprentices choose for their own study will be billed at a 25% reduced fee for every hour of class they help in. Apprentices will be invited to assist in studio activities such as kiln loading and unloading as well as private use of the studio when no classes are present. Additionally I will request occasional studio work days for tidying the studio between sessions and general maintenance of shared class tools and supplies.

Apprentice in at least one ceramics studio class (outside of this class) Personal classes will be billed at a 25% reduced teacher fee for every hour of class they help in. Apprentices will be invited to assist in studio activities outside of class time such as kiln work, clay reclaim and other large tasks. During some breaks there will be open studio times only for apprentices, as well as private opportunities with approval by Miss Tracy.
