Description:
Designed for dancers ready to take their hip hop training to the next level! This class focuses on sharper movement quality, stronger performance skills, quicker choreography retention, and more advanced rhythm patterns. Dancers will explore dynamics, freestyle basics, and increased precision while continuing to build confidence and stage presence.
This is a year-long program and requires a full-year commitment. This class will be performing in one of our Christmas Shows the weekend of December 10-12 and in our Spring Dance Recital May 20-23. More details to come. Please read our Dance Department Syllabus that is attached to this class for more pertinent class and department information. A $25 costume fee will be included in the Spring Semester’s Admin Fee.

Must have 1-2 years of experience in dance and teacher permission.
Tuesday - Dance Studio B - 118: 11:00 am - 11:50 am
Description:
Hip Hop Upper Level 1 (Previously Hip Hop 3) - Must be ages 9+ with 2-5 years experience – Intermediate Level. Concentration on learning through movement, choreography and grooves will be a must in this class. Students will learn to keep themselves in shape through core workouts and conditioning exercises. Choreography will be super fun designed to improve flexibility, rhythm and extension while maintaining proper technique and timing. This is a yearlong class and students will be performing in all four performances for our Spring Dance Show “For Such A Time As This” . Dress Rehearsal and Shows are April 23-26. This Class will be in Show A and B. PLEASE READ our syllabus containing more details about the shows and pertinent dance class information is located here in the class files and on our website. Click on Programs - Dance. Mandatory new parent meeting over Zoom at 7pm September 15th. Spring semester’s Admin fee includes the $25 show costume rental fee. There will be an optional $10 show t-shirt.

An intermediate-level class for dancers ready for more challenging choreography and performance training. Dancers will focus on musicality, control, stamina, style variations, and stronger execution of hip hop technique. Classes include across-the-floor progressions, conditioning, freestyle development, and performance-focused combinations.
