- Engineering
Schedule: Tuesday - Science Lab - 127: 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm
Description:In LEGO Engineering, students will get the opportunity to participate in fun STEM-based engineering builds and activities. Though there is some overlap with last semester’s LEGO Engineering class, there will be many new activities, too! Students will be able to create and test their own zip lines, play LEGO bowling and ring toss, make a mini car maze, build a LEGO brick birthday cake, construct LEGO/straw designs, perform an “earthquake test”, play with LEGO dominoes, and more! For many of the weeks, students will either get to watch a brief video about the day’s engineering theme, or Mrs. Czerwien will read an engineering children’s picture book to introduce the theme for the day! By the semester’s end, students will be able to take home a few LEGO Dominoes, a brick separator with several “practice” LEGO plates and tiles, a minifigure, LEGO brick birthday cake, and a mini pull-back car.

- Engineering
Schedule: Monday - Classroom - 135: 11:00 am - 11:50 am
Description:Students will learn about LEGO micro scale and get the opportunity to make a micro ‘element’ each week. Micro elements include: buildings, airplanes, trees, houses, boats, multiple vehicles, etc! At the end of the semester, students will get to take home all their micro elements, plus a small multi-section shelf to display their elements. (These are all part of the class supply fee.) Students will also be able to use class bases and pieces to design their own micro cities throughout the semester. In order to keep the class supply fee low, though, these micro cities will not be taken home. There will be a short YouTube video at the start of each class period. Lego® Star Wars Ages 9yrs-13yrs Czerwien, Sharon Fall 2026 Science
- Engineering
Schedule: Monday - Classroom - 135: 11:00 am - 11:50 am
Description:From Starfighters and Walkers to Destroyers, Cruisers, Sith Infiltrators, TIE Bombers, and more, each class will feature an iconic vehicle from the Star Wars galaxy. Students will learn about that vehicle and then use LEGO bricks to build a creative Star Wars-themed scene inspired by it. Each class will begin with a short video introducing a different ship, bomber, walker, or other vehicle from the Star Wars galaxy. Students will then work on building a mini-scale Star Wars-themed scene, planet, or setting. Students will continue adding to their creations throughout the semester and will be able to take one completed scene home on a 32×32 baseplate. If they finish their main project early, they may have time to build additional scenes to enjoy during class. Mrs. Czerwien will provide a selection of Battle Droid and Clone Trooper minifigures for students to use in their take-home scenes. However, she will not have minifigures for every possible Star Wars scene or battle. Students are welcome to bring their own Star Wars minifigures from home if they would like to include them in their creations. Throughout the semester, students will also have the opportunity to build and take home nine mini-scale Star Wars-themed vehicles. Examples include the X-wing, Y-wing, A-wing, AT-AT, Razor Crest, Imperial Star Destroyer, and many more! A full list of books and videos are listed in the class syllabus.
Requirements:Prior Star Wars knowledge is not a requirement for this class, but it may help when building 32x32 scenes. Mrs. Czerwien will have Star Wars books on hand, though.

Lego® Vehicles Ages 7yrs-11yrs Czerwien, Sharon Fall 2026 Science
- Engineering
Schedule: Monday - Classroom - 135: 12:00 pm - 12:50 pm
Description:From cars, boats, and airplanes to exciting engineering challenges, this LEGO® class is all about vehicles! Students will build a variety of vehicles in different scales while exploring creativity, design, and problem-solving. Some of the fun daily challenges include a Car Cup Challenge, crash landings, Ramp Day, ziplines, magnet-powered cars, and more! During one class, students will also build and take home their own small LEGO® vehicle set. Throughout the semester, students will also build and take home several small creations, including micro-scale cars, a boat, a mini airplane, a minifigure, and a mini parachute. About half of the class periods will begin with a short YouTube video featuring a vehicle-related topic. Every class, Mrs. Czerwien will introduce a new LEGO® building challenge for students to complete.
Requirements:Students will not specifically learn "how to make" LEGO cars step-by-step. The class will have different challenges based on simple vehicle designs (or students can design as fancy/detailed as they like). The teacher can show basic LEGO car design, but the crux of the class is not for students to learn how to design cars. Students will ideally need to feel comfortable designing basic cars (or using the basic example designs from the teacher).

Lessons (Drums): Joseph Ages 9yrs-14yrs Hallett, Joseph Fall 2026 Music
- Instrumental
Schedule:

Not Set

Description:Students will explore the basics of drumming, such as: Learning how to play basic and intermediate drumbeats, the purpose of each beat and when to use it, how to read drum notation, playing along with songs, and other important drumming techniques! My hope is to prepare students with a basic knowledge of drumming, so they can go on to pursue any form of drumming they wish, to the glory of God! Pricing is $18 a lesson or $72 a month. Hi! My name is Joseph Hallett. I have been playing drums for about 4 years now, and love it as much as the day I started. I find it very important to intertwine playing music with following Jesus, which in turn will change the way drumming is viewed. The worship director at my church puts it closely this way: using our gifts to bring others into a state of true worship. My main genres of music are Worship and sometimes pop or rock. I also enjoy composing videogame-type tracks. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 19:21.
Requirements:Practice at least 30 min per week. The more the better. You will need a pair of drum sticks (Vick Firth recommemed), a drum practice pad, and a pair of wired over the ear headphones.
