We will explore things like emotions, feelings, colors, commands and more! My goal is that after the week your student has a love for the Spanish language and has tucked some new words into their vocabulary. Come and enjoy the Spanish language with me!
**price includes craft supplies**
** please plan on bringing your child a snack each day **
Preschool geared class time! Our daily schedule includes a block of time each day when children choose an activity from a number of developmentally appropriate options. During free choice a student might create art, build structures with blocks, engage with our sensory table or look at books from our small library. Children move freely selecting a variety of play that interests them. I use that time as an opportunity to teach and build relationships with students to help learn and facilitate conflict that arises from play. After this block of time we have a clean up warning, followed by a clean up song. When the room is complete we sit in circle time for a variety of learning games and songs. We sing each other's names and talk about the weather. Each child has an opportunity to give a report on what they see outside. We sing the days of the week, talk about colors, numbers and discuss the Calendar daily. We typically read a story, play a game, play instruments for our group activities. This facilitates cognitive development and encourages social skills such as taking turns, cooperation, reciprocal language skills, sharing and empathy. Please include a healthy snack and take your child to the restroom before each class. I will provide water and cups. Please send them in clothes that can get messy!
In this class I will be lightly following My Fathers World Kindergarten Curriculum. We will learn the basics of preschool/ kindergarten. We will learn the Alphabet (lower and uppercase and basic sound), tracing letters and numbers, numbers 1-10, counting, patterns, shapes, colors. I hope to also teach dot to dot, mazes and color by number. Each week we will focus 2 letters from the Alphabet, learn a Godly phrase, read a related book and do a related craft. Each child will receive a tracing book we will work on throughout the term in class. At the end of the term we will compile our crafts into wonderful Alphabet booklet each kiddo will get to take home. I'm excited to bring to life all the fun basics, while focusing on the wonderful world God has created.
Requirements:
Children need to have gone to the restroom before class begins, must be able to sit for story time, take turns, and help clean up their space. I will gladly welcome 3.5 year olds also. Please message me for an age exemption thank you.
Is your child ready to hop, bound, run, dive, leap, jump, turn, kick and stretch ? Groovin Storytime for kids will encourage age appropriate movement and stories that help strengthen fine motor and gross motor skills while expanding our language skills. In this program, we will introduce stories and body movement in a very fun, loving and professional environment. We will work on skills such as rhythm, coordination, self confidence, discipline and structure. In addition we will also work on social skills like taking turns, making friends, teamwork and listening skills. We will use body actions to communicate an image (leaf falling) , communicate a journey (seeds growing into plants reaching for the sun) or communicate feelings such as strength and joy. Both boys and girls enjoy these classes. Stories will be preschool age appropriate and imaginative for the children. Please have your child in comfortable clothes to move in. Take your child to the restroom before class begins.

In this camp we will learn all about putting on the Armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-19. Children will learn through stories, engaging crafts, songs, games, art, and hands on object lessons. We will practice safe scissor use, pencil grip, taking turns, color mixing and working as a team. By the last day campers will know our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against Satan. Most importantly they will learn our hope is found in Jesus, who has defeated sin and death!
Day 1: Introduction to the Armor of God/ Belt of Truth
Day 2: Breastplate of Righteousness/ Shoes of the Gospel of Peace
Day 3: Shield of Faith/ Helmet of Salvation
Day 4: Sword of the Spirit and Prayer
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication.
Ephesians 6:13-18
Requirements:
Children should be able to sit for 10 minute story time, go potty independently (can pull up their own pants), enjoy crafts and art, participate in group games, and know basic scissor safety.
Language Sensory Adventures will provide fun sensory rich literacy experiences for your child to explore during their most vital period of learning and development. Classes will be made up of different sensory and language stations to explore and learn with all the senses; things to touch, taste, smell, hear and look at.
This class will give your kids the chance to explore their own art making techniques using many different types of art supplies. Process art is about the process of creating, not about the product that comes from the creating. When young children are given the opportunity to discover, explore and make mistakes, unique and creative artwork will flow. They learn to think creatively when allowed the freedom to express themselves through art. Process art also strengthens fine motor skills, cognitive thinking, and spatial intelligence. It is also a lot of fun!
