Description:Students 12-16 years old will build strength, improve speed, agility, and coordination. This program is designed for each student to set fitness goals as we track and conquer them. Train at your own pace and build self-confidence with a preset number of timed exercises with a partner or on teams. Together we will work on self-defense with boxing skills and drills. Instructor will provide the boxing gloves and punch mitts. No contact other than the gloves to the mitts. Challenge your core strength with throw downs, planks, bucket carry and so much more to build lean muscle! Have you ever tried a pull up or a sandbag squat? Learn how here! Circuit training is a powerful tool for fitness that we will utilize. Warm up to cool down will be packed full of fun fitness and challenges. Class will either start or finish with a game for more teamwork fun and good sportsmanship. Join Miss Kristin AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America), Certified Group Fitness Instructor for this class offering! Please bring water and athletic shoes. A mouth guard is suggested for the boxing part of the class.

Mom & Kid Bootcamp Ages 3yr-10yr Jade Moore Fall 2021 Physical Fitness

Description:Total body workout with your kids that is designed for moms of all fitness levels. The focus is on having fun with your kids while building lasting friendships with other moms. Whether you are just beginning your fitness journey to those who would like to encourage movement within their kids routine, Bootcamp is designed to not only give you a workout but give you the tools to incorporate exercise into your families life. Classes involve activities such as partner games, competitions, and creativity to engage all families. ALL CHILDREN NEED TO BE REGISTERED, SO REGISTER PARENT AND ALL CHILDREN AGES 3-10. Children birth to 2 years old are welcome but don't need to register. Class fee is per family, you will be invoiced as such before the start of class.

Fitness Foundations 2C Ages 8yr-12yr Kristin Krasko Winter/Spring 2021 Physical Fitness

Description:Children ages 8-12 years old will develop a strong understanding of a safe and effective workout in a fun and encouraging environment. Each class builds on the last class to improve agility, strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Join Miss Kristin, (AFAA- Aerobics, and Fitness Association of America), Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Together we will work through obstacle courses, resistance and body training, basic sports movements, interval training, and some fun self defense moves. Many new and exciting games like spiderball, sprout, dodgeball, and tower topple. As well as tug of war, relay races, and much more! This program is designed for each child to build confidence in their abilities, at their own level of fitness, while learning teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Students turning 8 years old 6 months prior to registration date, may also register.  Bring: Water, comfortable clothes, and athletic shoes

The fundamentals of wrestling include basic skills, drills, and techniques in a fun and positive environment. Wrestling is a unique sport because it teaches values that last a lifetime. Wrestling builds character, teaches kids how to overcome obstacles and failure, handle emotions, respect authority, a strong work ethic, discipline, resilience, accountability, and be a good teammate. Wrestling is more than a sport; wrestling is family. Our classes are dedicated to fostering these values in our youth and providing a family atmosphere where kids can thrive. This program is best defined as "wrestling meets youth group." Wrestling shoes are not necessary. Please bring water and socks.

Totally Tumbling Ages 4yr-7yr Rene Cooper Fall 2022 Physical Fitness

Description:This class is designed to improve coordination, balance, strength, rhythm and cognitive skills. This will help build and improve hand eye coordination and eye tracking for reading readiness. Basic Gymnastics skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, handstands and back bends will be things we work towards. Spending time on strength building and flexibility as well as balance. In a small portion of the class we will work with movement to music with props like balls, hoops, bean bags and scarves. Music time with be accompanied with bells, maracas, drums and egg shakers creating different rhythms and beats. We will play fun games, create obstacle courses and student will learn helpful life skills. Opportunities to practice taking turns all while enjoying friendship, movement and laughter together.

Description:This class is for volleyball enthusiasts! Bring your competitive spirit and learn skills and rules for playing the game of volleyball! We will work on fundamentals to be successful on the court as well as individual skill work, and team play. Let the fun begin! All levels are welcome. We'll meet in the Auditorium or Outside depending on the weather.
