| Description: | Is your child ready to hop, bound, run, dive, leap, jump, turn, kick and stretch ? Groovin Storytime for kids will encourage age appropriate movement and stories that help strengthen fine motor and gross motor skills while expanding our language skills. In this program, we will introduce stories and body movement in a very fun, loving and professional environment. We will work on skills such as rhythm, coordination, self confidence, discipline and structure. In addition we will also work on social skills like taking turns, making friends, teamwork and listening skills. We will use body actions to communicate an image (leaf falling) , communicate a journey (seeds growing into plants reaching for the sun) or communicate feelings such as strength and joy. Both boys and girls enjoy these classes. Stories will be preschool age appropriate and imaginative for the children. Please have your child in comfortable clothes to move in. Take your child to the restroom before class begins. |
