| Description: | Apprenticeship with Miss Tracy is a studio-based, hands-on learning experience that can offer an invaluable window into the career of a studio ceramic artist. This age-old model of transference of craft skills, ideals, and practice will provide a unique learning opportunity for your student. In this class we will discuss in-class helper guidelines tips and techniques, studio equipment training, and chore expectations. Apprentices will be trained in all the nuances and needs of the duties that are unique to our studio as well as discussion/exposure to alternative types of studio environments. |

| Requirements: | Apprentices need to help in one or more of the scheduled classes being held in the ceramics studio. Apprentices may register for the Wednesday Delight Directed Ceramics class (formerly Ceramics On Your Own) for a 25% reduced fee for every hour of class they help in. Apprentices will be invited to assist in studio activities such as kiln loading and unloading as well as private use of the studio when no classes are present. As well as occasional studio work days for tidying the studio between sessions and general maintenance of shared class tools and supplies. |
