| Description: | In this weekly gathering of parents and students we will be gleaning inspiration for our projects through stories read aloud each week. Students will be guided through the basics of clay sculpture, pinch pots, coil making and more. This tactile medium will be used to help cultivate fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, attention to detail and storytelling. Parents of 3 & 4 year old students will attend together, 5 year old’s may be dropped off or parents may choose to stay for the class as well. Art work will range from a small guided projects completed in one day to projects that may take two or more sessions to complete. The class will touch on sculptural and functional wares over the course of our 16 weeks together. |
