| Description: | In this weekly gathering we will be gleaning inspiration for our projects through stories read aloud each week. Students will be guided through the basics of clay sculpture, pinch pots, coil making and more. This tactile medium will be used to help cultivate fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, attention to detail and storytelling. Artwork will range from a small guided projects completed in one day and projects that may take two or more sessions to complete. The class will touch on sculptural and functional wares over the course of our 16 weeks together. |
