| Description: | Join our ballet program with this foundational ballet class! Here, students will learn the basics of ballet, how to follow instructions, ballet etiquette, and the joy of dancing in a group. We will focus on the fundamentals through barre work, stretching, and floor exercises. To reinforce their learning, students are encouraged to stretch and practice at home for a few minutes each day. This year-long class requires a full-year commitment from students. Proper ballet attire is mandatory, including pink tights, a leotard, ballet slippers, and hair pulled back in a bun. Please ensure your child brings a labeled water bottle and uses the bathroom before class. Students will be performing in two performances for our Spring Dance Show “Moses and The God Who Delivers” (May 15th-18th). This Class will be in Show B. PLEASE READ our syllabus containing more details about the shows and pertinent dance class information is located here on our website. Click on Programs - Dance. Mandatory parent meeting 7pm 2/24. Each semester’s Admin fee includes the show costume rental fee. |
