Description:Join us as we bring the beloved classic "Anne of Green Gables" to life on stage! This enchanting tale, written by Lucy Maud Montgomery, follows the adventures of Anne Shirley, an imaginative and spirited orphan who is mistakenly sent to live with Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, a brother and sister who had intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm in the picturesque village of Avonlea. This term we will be implementing a Theater curriculum that will be taught during the first hour of our class time, followed by two hours dedicated to production work. During our class time, we will explore the fundamentals of theater to support our production efforts. Anne AUDITIONS will be held in person in the Auditorium before the Spring Semester begins. Please choose one of the AUDITION DATES: DECEMBER 16, 17, 18, JANUARY 6 and 7. A link will be sent out in a DM on slack to the parent of the student enrolled to select the date and time preference for their students audition. The TIMES for each audition date will be from: 4:30 PM - 8PM in the auditorium. Enrolled students will receive a DM with a link to sign up for a designated audition time and information on where to to pick up audition forms will be included in the DM. We invite actors of all experience levels to join us! IMPORTANT DATES: 12/16-18 & 1/6-7: Choose one of these dates for AUDITIONS 1/31: Parent Meeting 5pm 3/21: OFF SCRIPT 4/12: Super Saturday 4/25: Run Through / Parent Meeting 5:30pm 4/26: Cue to Cue: CREW ONLY 4/28 - 5/1: Tech Week 5pm-10pm 5/1: Dress Rehearsal / Pictures 5/2: Opening Night 6pm 5/3: Performances 2pm and 6pm 5/4: Performance 4pm / Strike 7pm 5/9: Theater Party 2-5pm 5/16: CREW and COSTUME ONLY Organization/storage day THE CAST SHOULD PRACTICE AT HOME DAILY TO MEMORIZE LINES FOR THE PRODUCTION. SHOW BOX AND MODESTY CLOTHES REQUIRED.(Description of items in requirements section and will be discussed in class and at parent meetings.)

Required Show Box: * Large 12 Gallon Tote with attached folding lid * Bill Nye Theatrical Makeup Kit: In correct skin tone for child, if student has this they do not need to purchase a new kit * Eyeliner and Mascara, (Boys and Girls) * Disposable makeup sponges * Make up remover wipes * Small mirror with stand * Deodorant * Girls: Hairspray, Elastics, Bobby Pins * Boys: Hair Gel * Oversized button up shirt to protect costumes * Easily Cleanable Snacks * Water Bottle Required Modesty Clothing: * Girls: Tan/Nude Leotard * Boys: Close fitting shorts and tank top. Required Theater shoes: * Jazz Shoes: We do have some donated. We would be happy to lend to those in need.
