| Description: | Presented from a Christian worldview, our class will focus on art appreciation and fun art projects. There will be read-aloud stories about each featured artist, visual examples of their work, and an art project inspired by that featured artist. This Fall, we will be learning about several great American artists. Some possibilities may include John James Audubon, Winslow Homer, Mary Cassatt, Grant Wood, Norman Rockwell, Grandma Moses, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol. Please note that this class will be offered again in the Spring semester, featuring different artists and projects. The class can be taken throughout the entire school year, if desired, or by the semester. |
