Description:Receive two classes in one, in this brand new class offering! We will be using Not Consumed Homeschool curriculum called Thrive. The class fee provides the workbook for your student. The homework will include the student's workout time at home. Although the workbook says high school on it, I am breaking down these important lessons for our middle schoolers who want a deeper understanding of their nutrition and fitness. Thrive begins by laying out the foundation that God designed our bodies. Using scripture & science, your student will receive an education that focuses on stewarding the body they've been gifted. We will discuss various systems and organs in the body to help better understand how our bodies function and how to maintain your health. We will discuss the five components of physical fitness and do workouts together that will be encouraging and tracked for every student. Discovering what fuels our bodies, exploring the fundamental principals of nutrition, and how to apply these in order to make wise choices about food, drinks, and other substances. Your student will learn what it means to THRIVE as they lead a healthy, balanced life that honors God.
