| Description: | We will be learning how to participate in an effective worship team environment. Our goal is to prepare the student to be a successful worshipper and part of a worship team.
Applicants must be proficient at their instrument. The class is not “how to play” but rather, learning to play as a group to lead worship.
Instruments include:
1. Vocals
2. Acoustic Guitar
3. Electric Guitar
4. Bass Guitar
5. Drums
6. Keyboard/Piano
Some of the topics we will cover are:
1. Personal and spiritual development.
2. Musicianship with a band.
3. Theological and spiritual aspects of worship.
4. Leadership principles.
5. Basic sound and computer tech processes to support worship.
6. And many more….
The class will develop teams that may lead chapel or other events that need a worship team at FPHRC. We will also encourage each participant to be involved in their church’s worship program.
We will be working on popular worship songs together in class. As applicable, students need to bring their own instruments to class. We will have a sound system to plug into. |
