| Description: | Using Logic of English's "Rhythm of Handwriting: Cursive" as a foundation, students will learn the fundamentals of cursive handwriting. This curriculum teaches verbal cues to help students remember correct letter formation. The style of cursive taught is very simple, but pleasing--appropriate for all ages of learners. I, personally, have used this curriculum to teach cursive to an adult, an "average" 8-year-old, and an "advanced" 5-year-old--all with excellent results. The curriculum can easily be adapted to different ability levels. We will begin with learning lower case letters, then add words, phrases, upper case letters, and full sentences. |
