| Description: | This class will give your kids the chance to explore their own art making techniques using many different types of art supplies. They will also have the opportunity to explore many different sensory mediums. This class will encourage children to engage with materials using all of their senses, promoting exploration and discovery. Process art is about the process of creating, not about the product that comes from the creating. When young children are given the opportunity to discover, explore and make mistakes, unique and creative artwork will flow. They learn to think creatively when allowed the freedom to express themselves through art. Process art also strengthens fine motor skills, cognitive thinking, and spatial intelligence. It is also a lot of fun! |
