| Description: | In this class we will be integrating color, design and patterns on paper, using these inspirations for working these patterns and lines into separate clay projects. At the end of of the semester students will have completed a spectacular, colorful art portfolio filled with nature patterns, watercolor, pen and ink and their own labor-of-love pottery creations. In clay, we will make ornaments, nature and hand prints and more. The claywork is a theraputic experience for tactile kids; the drawing component excellent for the mind, including foundational drawing skills using all kinds of lines. This class is ideal for artistic kids who love to draw but also are hands on and want to experience working with clay. |
