| Description: | This is a CORE class that meets twice a week for the full year. CORE classes have greater expectations of students, parents, and teachers. In this class we will study the different fields of science, perform experiments, and prepare for upper level science courses. This serves as an introduction to the sciences. Students will learn how to take good notes, write a lab report, use a scientific calculator, complete projects, and will use the scientific method during a minimum of 8 labs. I offer 2 tracks for this course - middle school and high school. A student workbook will be provided to the student. |
