| Description: | Come and fall in love with the beauty and fun of ballet. Through engaging teaching, games, and music we will learn the fundamentals of ballet. This is a year long class and students will be asked to commit to attending for the entire year. Dancers will have the opportunity to share some of what they’ve learned at an informal Winter Showcase on December 6th or 7th and a dance at our Spring Dance Show. The Spring Show is scheduled for the weekend of May 20th and 21st at 6:00 PM, with more details to come at the mandatory parent meeting in the fall. Students taking multiple classes (or siblings) receive 25% off their second class taken with the same instructor. Fees may be paid monthly or by semester. Costume fees for the Spring Show are due at Spring registration. (Estimated $25 to rent.) Ballet attire is required to attend class (pink tights, leotard, and ballet slippers) as well as hair pulled back in a bun. We look forward to enjoying the basics of ballet through barre work, stretching, and floor exercises. Students are encouraged to stretch and practice what they learn in class at home a few minutes each day. |
