Our class will combine nutrition & fitness into one class while following biblical principals explained and demonstrated in an interactive way. Kids will make healthy snacks that feed and nourish our bodies that God has given to us. Then we will all sample them! Students will understand how we are fearfully and wonderfully made with our muscles, and all of our bodies' systems. As well as taking care of their temple with safe and effective workouts they can do home, the importance of good sleep habits, a healthy diet, and foods and ingredients to avoid. I am thrilled to offer this first of it's kind class at our center!
Learn about the everyday heroes in our neighborhoods through play, art, and imagination! In “Here to Help”, your little one will explore the exciting world of community helpers, from brave firefighters to friendly mail carriers, caring doctors, and helpful garbage collectors. Through fun, hands-on activities like Fire & Flames process art, racing emergency vehicles, bandaging up dolls, and pretend play at the vet clinic, your child will build empathy, creativity, and early problem-solving skills. They’ll dive into themed sensory bins, match hats to helpers, brush pretend teeth, and discover how people in our community work together to keep us safe, healthy, and happy. Songs, games, and stories will spark curiosity and appreciation for the people children see every day. Whether your child wants to be a firefighter, dentist, or chef, “Here to Help!” is the perfect place to pretend, play, and learn about all the amazing jobs that make our world go round.
Requirements:
Children must be able to attend class without parent (special needs with a student helper is fine). Students need to use restroom before class, and have a parent available on Slack for bathroom breaks during class.
New Class: Welcome to Heroes and Villains of the Bible - an exciting new class where we explore adventures of interesting characters of both New and Old Testament. This engaging course will study the interesting personalities like Daniel, Joseph and David. What made these Men the “Superheroes of Faith” they became? However we’ll also investigate the evil, the corrupt, the traitors of biblical history. What motivated these “fiends” into the life they chose? There are valuable lessons to learn on either side of the scale! There will be videos, dittos, handouts, trivia contests and many activities to have fun & learn at the same time!

Calling all parents who value health and fitness - but are busy, busy, busy! Join coach Miranda Alcaraz who was on the CrossFit Seminar Staff for 8 years, and co-owns and operates the online platform for people who want to train at home, Street Parking. She has a passion for helping people who are short on time, space, or equipment to learn that fitness can be simple, quick, and fun. This class is designed to teach you movement - and help you build consistency by getting a workout in while your kids are in class. The workouts are designed to build a well rounded fitness, to include cardio + strength + flexibility and coordination - so that you are ready to take on whatever life throws your way. The sessions are high intensity, but ANY fitness level is welcome! Along the way you will learn simple movements and workouts that can also be done at home with a single pair of dumbbells. The goal? Help you build consistency - challenge yourself - HAVE FUN!
Requirements:
Bring a bottle water, good shoes, and clothes you can move in.
After coaching such a great group this Spring - we are bringing this class back for the Fall!
The goal of this class is to give mamas the opportunity to get some movement in while their kiddos are in class! Taught by me - Miranda Alcaraz! I have been in fitness for 25 years - serving on the CrossFit seminar team for 8 years and for the past 10 years have owned a business for people who work out primarily at home.
The point of this class isn't ONLY to help you break a quick sweat - but to TEACH you:
- How to move
- What it means to be fit for quality of life
- To remind you that you are beautifully and wonderfully made - and your body is capable of so much
- How to work around any injuries, limitations (physical or mental)
- Provide a framework for how you can work out in any environment with limited time, space, equipment
- And to build a camaraderie with the other women by overcoming obstacles, sharing, and laughing at ourselves together.
It truly does not matter where your current fitness level is. Whether you haven't ever been consistent - have been hit and miss for a while - or are already very fit. The workouts will challenge, but be appropriate for you.
Requirements:
Clothes you can move in
Shoes that are comfortable
Water bottle
