| Description: | "This will be an “open art lab” time for students in art classes to work on projects they’ve started in class and play with techniques they’re learning in addition to class times. We will be open to students coming every week or on an “as needed” basis (with parental approval) but registration for this class is required for either format. I will be available for tutoring or assistance during this time as well as making sure any approved materials are available from the teachers cabinets. Our heart in the art department is that students grow and play with art and learn to enjoy creating both in and out of class, and this is an opportunity to do that.
No prerequisites required to come and participate with students own materials. In order to use teacher materials students must be enrolled in an art class and have approved material usage with their teacher.
Students will bring their own materials or request permission from their teachers to use teacher materials during lab time. Students should bring their own notebook, sketch book, or paper to use and have a project in mind to work on during lab.
There will be no homework. " |
