Each class builds on the last class to improve agility, strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Join Miss Kristin, (AFAA-Aerobics, and Fitness Association of America), Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Together we will work through obstacle courses, body weight strength training, basic sports movements, interval training, and some fun self defense moves. Many new and exciting games like spiderball, sprout, pinball, and tower topple. As well as scooters relays, dodgeball, parachute play, and much more! This program is designed for each child to build confidence in their abilities, at their own level of fitness, while learning teamwork and good sportsmanship. Please bring water & athletic shoes. Fitness mat is optional.

Through various types of small equipment, ladies will be strengthened, motivated, and build confidence. Focus will be on interval, strength, core, and self defense training. Classes will help students also gain coordination, agility, and sculpt lean muscle. Training at each student's pace is key to success. All fitness levels are invited to join Miss Kristin, AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Association of America), Certified Group Fitness Instructor for this new class offering. This will be a fun full body workout warm up to cooldown. An energizing game will be added to the end of class from time to time to grow teamwork and sportsmanship. Please bring water & athletic shoes. Fitness mat is optional.

Mashoonga! Ages 14yr-18yr Andrew Ringnalda Physical Fitness

Description:Fight for honor! Fight for glory! Join our full-contact foam sword fighting class this fall as we work to reignite a championship team. The purpose of this class is not bashing each other with foam swords, however. Well, actually, yeah, it is, for the most part, but we will spend a lot time exploring how Christians can compete honestly in line with Scripture and putting those principles into action. There will be some reading and homework, but mainly at the beginning of the session. Mostly, you’ll just be hitting each other with foam swords, which is really what you want to do, right? Students will need to purchase a set of Mashoonga sabers and will be responsible for their maintenance. We will have intramural competitions at the end of each semester, and, possibly, a tournament in the spring against other homeschool co-ops fielding their own teams, depending on whether area co-ops continue to offer this class as well. Students will need a set of Mashoonga foam swords; information on purchasing these will be sent out after registration Homework: 1-2 hours/week, mainly for the first couple of weeks.
