Description:This is a twice a week class on Mondays and Wednesdays. Each student will need to have the Zeta Math U See book and test book (the purple ones). This is a WELL ROUNDED curriculum with a focus on decimals, percents and fractions. It also includes: metric system, variables, basic geometric vocabulary, geometric shapes and formulas, probability, and more. It is very important that the student knows their multiplication facts 1-10, has a good understanding of long division, and understands addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions. Each student will have access to a weekly video they can watch before coming to class to help assist them in their understanding of the lesson. This is very helpful if your family goes on vacation or needs to miss a week.

It is absolutely critical that your student already has a strong foundation in multiplication.

Description:This curriculum focuses on double digit addition and subtraction and also covers: place value, inequalities, skip counting, money, rounding, measurements, perimeter, and thousands place value notation. We will be using manipulative regularly in class to help the students visually see how numbers easily work together. Each student will have access to a weekly video they can watch before coming to class to help assist them in their understanding of the lesson.
Requirements:Each student will need to have the Beta Math U See workbook book and test book (orange ones). Parent's signature are required on all student's weekly quizzes. All IEP students must be accompanied by a parent during each class.

Description:Stewardship is a personal finance curriculum taught from a biblical perspective. With Math-U-See's Steve Demme’s signature humility, humor, and sharp math skills, practical math instruction is combined with Biblical principles of finance and discipleship material. This edition is updated with current topics relevant to young people aged 15 and older, who are beginning to explore more independent financial opportunities and responsibilities. All books are included in the materials fee. This class will count for 1 Math Credit and 1 Bible Credit.

Description:Foundations in Personal Finance is a practical, powerful life-changing personal finance class. Parents desire to prepare their teens to launch successfully into the real world. Most teens [even college-age students] will admit to being ill-prepared to handle money responsibly. This class will teach them to think and plan long-term. It addresses the 4 key areas: work, spending, saving, & giving. This class emphasizes character development which is vital to making wise money decisions. This class is designed to have parents and teens team-up to learn and apply the life-transforming principles contained in this 16-week course. After taking this class, most teens will be more confident, less stressed, have stronger money convictions, and relationships. This class is a MUST for your teen to be "financially literate" and ready to be a good steward of their money/resources.
Requirements:Only for students ages 15-19 years old. Students must work with parents on their weekly take-home activity assignments. Parents have a great opportunity to share their life experiences with money. Students must do their weekly textbook reading and video watching online before each class time.
