Firmly Planted IGNITE summer camps all start with 30 minutes of group chapel followed by 2 1/2 hours of specialty camps designed to ignite your student's faith. Cost includes a camp t-shirt. Basketball skills and drills is coming to our center! Be the first to meet the new coaches and increase your knowledge and performance of the game! We will start each day with a warmup, work through stations in small and large groups, and have scrimmages that will build confidence and skill. This camp is great for all skill levels. Coach Darren and Coach Kathy bring 14 years combined experience of coaching at Portland Christian. We are thrilled to offer three coaches to our players this summer! I am excited to see how God will use us as a team to bring Him glory and bring the joy of basketball to our kids!
Requirements:
Bring your good attitude and comfortable workout clothes with athletic shoes. No sandals allowed. A small snack and water bottle each day.

Boys 11-18 years old - Coach Matt's goal is to develop champions in life through a structured program based on values, commitment, and skills development; aimed to see these boys grasp and grow into the men of God they're meant to be. The fundamentals of wrestling include basic skills, drills, and techniques in a fun and positive environment. Wrestling is a unique sport because it teaches values that last a lifetime. Wrestling builds character and teaches kids how to overcome obstacles and failure, handle emotions, respect authority, have a strong work ethic, discipline, resilience, accountability, and be a good teammate. Our camp is dedicated to fostering these values in our boys, providing an atmosphere where they can thrive. This program is best defined as "wrestling meets youth group."
Wrestling shoes are not necessary. Please bring plenty of water and socks. Gluten-free snacks will be provided for each day.
