This class is a handbuilding/wheel throwing choice class for students wanting pottery time in the evenings after the school day is done.
Students will study/improve their skills in:

There will be demos throughout the weeks, social time with fellow pottery students, opportunity for fun joint projects, and a sculptural goal as well. Music, fellowship, fun and, as always, an excellent pottery education from your teacher. Students signed up for this class will also have access to the other open studio times as well.
Please bring a pottery notebook for sketching and note taking. Moleskins (blank) or hard spiral bound blank sketchbooks are ideal.

This is a year long class and students will be asked to commit to attending for the entire year. Dancers will have the opportunity to share their dances at our Spring Show. The Spring Show is scheduled for May 21st and 22nd at 6:30 PM, with a dress rehearsal the evening before on May 20th at 6:30 PM. Students taking multiple classes (or siblings) receive half off their second class taken with the same instructor. Fees may be paid monthly or by semester. Our most advanced group of dancers will be challenged with choreography that I give them after seeing their abilities, and will have opportunities to come up with and teach their own choreography to the rest of the class! I look forward to seeing all of the creativity and hard work from these students! This is a year long class and students will be asked to commit to attending for the entire year. Comfortable clothing and tap shoes should be worn to class. Students will be performing in a Winter Showcase on January 19th as well as the Spring Dance Show in May (16th-19th). Requires completion of Tap 1 and 2 or an audition with instructor. This class will be performing in the Spring Dance Shows the week of May 15-20. We are still working on our plans for the spring show, but please reserve that week now on your calendar. Our format will most likely be similar to our last spring show, with our youngest students performing in two of the four shows. Details will be related in full at our mandatory parent meeting to be held at 7pm on Monday, February 27th. Parental attendance to this meeting is essential in order to ensure clarity of information and the success of your dancer. Each family is required to have one parent volunteer to help in some way with the show.
