Description:I’m a fellow homeschool mom and ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with 10 years clinical experience. I have experience and specialized training in differential diagnosis and treatment of pediatric stuttering, voice disorders, articulation delays, expressive and receptive language disorders, social communication disorders as well as sensory differences. In addition, I treat children with motor-and sensory-based feeding difficulties. I love working alongside children and homeschool families and I’m here to help! SLP Evaluation/Consultations are $80 and are approximately 1 hour and include a formal assessment as well as written report and recommendations. Weekly treatment can also be provided for children on an as needed basis. Weekly treatment is $30 for each 30 minute session with comprehensive family training, home practice and progress plan included. Description:I can: Help identify behavior issues that may be caused by underlying learning and thinking differences. Teach strategies to improve focus, work habits, and be a more effective learner. Teach time management and organization skills. Work with parents to understand their child’s IEP or 504 plan and how to work with them at home, and advocate for them within the school setting. Provide a safe environment for your child to talk about school or learning challenges and learn how to self-advocate. Act as a link between home and school and/or help coordinate with other specialists both in and out of the school setting. Work towards goals set forth by other school or private professionals working with your child. Provide intervention level tutoring services and/or recommend programs to use with your struggling learner at home. $75/hr

Description:*PREREQUISITE: First semester of Spanish. This class is closed to new students. This is a beginning level, year-long Spanish language course, where students will learn how to converse at a basic level, as well as read and write some Spanish. We will use a Christian based language learning curriculum, and a Spanish version of the Bible and other materials, along with additional online practice. In class, we will speak, as well as read and write Spanish. There will be quizzes and homework, and a final grade will be determined. 3-5 hours/week expected. Tuesday AND Wednesday. Description:This is a CORE class that meets twice a week for the full year. Parents are required to attend the mandatory Core Parent Meeting immediately following Family Orientation on either August 24th at 2pm, August 24th at 6pm, September 7th at 2pm, or September 7th at 6pm. Year 2 continues on the foundation built in year 1. Students will review and expand on verb conjugations, especially irregular forms learned in the first year. The focus in year 2 will be on the past tense and expanding vocabulary for conversations. Class time will cover the book lessons and practice speaking and listening so attendance is vital. Additionally, fun activities will be used to make class lively and anchor lessons.
Requirements:Basic understanding of Spanish verb conjugation and beginning conversation skills is required. One year of Spanish is ideal. Native speakers are welcome to study the grammar. Required materials: ABEKA Spanish 1B (Por Todo El Mundo B) student books and Vocabulary manual.
