Firmly Planted IGNITE summer camps all start with 30 minutes of group chapel followed by 2 1/2 hours of specialty camps designed to ignite your student's faith. Cost includes a camp t-shirt. Hola Exploradores! Welcome to a fun filled Spanish camp where we will explore the Spanish language through circle times, crafts, games, and immersive play. We will explore things like emotions, feelings, colors, commands and more! My goal is that after the week your student has a love for the Spanish language and has tucked some new words into their vocabulary. Come and enjoy the Spanish language with me!

This is a CORE class that meets twice a week for the full year. Parents are required to attend the mandatory Core Parent Meeting immediately following Family Orientation on either August 24th at 2pm, August 24th at 6pm, September 7th at 2pm, or September 7th at 6pm.
Year 2 continues on the foundation built in year 1. Students will review and expand on verb conjugations, especially irregular forms learned in the first year. The focus in year 2 will be on the past tense and expanding vocabulary for conversations. Class time will cover the book lessons and practice speaking and listening so attendance is vital. Additionally, fun activities will be used to make class lively and anchor lessons.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of Spanish verb conjugation and beginning conversation skills is required. One year of Spanish is ideal. Native speakers are welcome to study the grammar. Required materials: ABEKA Spanish 1B (Por Todo El Mundo B) student books and Vocabulary manual.
In this Spanish 2 level class, we will learn the past tense, continue to work on fluency and improve our reading and writing. There will be assignments to help and tests to check on their understanding of the information. We will make it fun and engaging by adding in games and songs. My ultimate goal is that are excited about the language and learn to speak it well! Required materials: Por Todo El Mundo Book 2B by Abeka and Vocabulary manual. Must have taken a Spanish level 1 course

Welcome to a high school level Spanish program. We will spend the entire year learning the basics of the Spanish language through lessons, readings, writing and conversations. This is a beginning level class for any high schooler who has not had any Spanish language learning and would like to receive a high school language credit. This class will meet 2x a week and there will be 3-5 hours of required homework on top of class time.
Requirements:
In order to fully grasp the language in a shorter amount of class time, the homework will be mandatory to help cement the ideas and further the language learning. Students will be expected to participate in class and stay on top of homework. If more then two homework assignments are missed, student may be dropped from the class without refund. Quizzes and tests will also be a regular occurrence within the class. Students should be able to study on their own, take homework seriously and put in effort while in class.
Required texts: Abeka Spanish 1 from the Spanish Language Arts Series. $63.90 This is the NEW and improved book - please make sure you don't order the old version.
